AMATEUR FLY TYING CONTEST

COMPETE IN ONE OF FOUR DIVISIONS

Adults – 18 & older

Junior – 11-17

Pee Wee - 11 & under

FREE to enter

Competitors will get a package of random supplies to use for their creations along with the use of a vice. Each contestant will be required to tie one fly. Adults will have 15 minutes to tie their fly. Juniors will have 20 minutes.

PRIZES 

•  Adults - Men/women - Trophy  & swag for 1st place, Ribbons & swag for 2nd  
  • 1st & 2nd place - Dry flies, Wet flies & Streamers
• Junior - Trophy  & swag for 1st place, Ribbons & swag for 2nd  
  • 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place - Best Overall Fly
• Peewee - Trophy & swag for 1st place, Ribbons & swag for 2nd  
  • 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place - Best Overall Fly

SCHEDULE

12:00 pm - 12:30pm - Competitor check-in

12:30 pm - mandatory meeting for all competitors

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Peewee & Youth Competition - Camp Kids

2:00 pm - 3:00pm - Adult Competition – Town of Gypsum Stage
