The Longevity Project is a weeks-long effort by Craig Press to educate our readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life. This year’s project will focus on the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

The Craig Press will host a panel discussion of local experts followed by speaker Kevin Hines’ keynote address. Kevin is an award-winning global speaker, best-selling author, documentary filmmaker, and suicide prevention and mental health advocate who has reached millions with his story of an unlikely survival and his strong will to live. Two years after he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, he attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. Since the Golden Gate Bridge opened in 1937, thousands of people have tried to kill themselves by leaping. Only 34 have lived. Kevin Hines is one of them.
